Working Procedures

We believe that each case requires its own specific approach. Our working procedures are tailored to this. At a very early stage we confer with our client on the best approach to the case, while considering, among other things, the feasibility of success, the financial interest and the cost of handling the case.

During the first consultation we discuss the approach to be adopted in the case and we explain our rate and the terms and conditions on which we take up the case.

Our clients decide which lawyer will act on behalf of them. Colleagues in the firm will only become involved after consultation with the client.

We usually work as a team with our clients and with any other advisors our clients may have. If necessary we can, after conferring with our client, engage advisors ourselves or introduce our client to them. We have excellent contacts with a whole network of advisors, including civil law notaries, accountants, tax advisors and corporate finance advisors. By means of our international network we can assist our clients in international transactions and disputes.
